About Anand Madan, MD

Anand Madan, MD, is a double-board-certified internal medicine physician and gastroenterologist at Capitol GI, serving patients in Roseville, California, and throughout Placer County.

Dr. Madan was born and raised in India. He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College, Patiala, in Punjab, India, and completed an internship before moving to the United States.

Upon arriving in America, Dr. Madan completed residency training at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, a fellowship at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, and an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the University of California Davis School of Medicine.

Dr. Madan holds board certifications in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He entered private practice in 2003 and joined the team at Capitol GI in 2010.

He takes a patient-centered approach to treatment. He enjoys getting to know the people in his care and offers various integrative and noninvasive treatments.

Dr. Madan welcomes anyone experiencing gastrointestinal problems, like heartburn, nausea, or diarrhea, to Capitol GI.
