About Jasbir Rangi, MD

Jasbir Rangi, MD, is a double-board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician at Capitol GI, providing high-quality gastroenterology care to adults in Roseville, California, and throughout Placer County.

Dr. Rangi was born and raised in India. He obtained his medical degree from Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, before moving to the United States.

After arriving in America, Dr. Rangi completed his medical internship, residency, and fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Rangi excelled in the program and received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of various digestive health problems and disorders.

Dr. Rangi entered private practice in 1997. He holds board certifications in internal medicine and gastroenterology and has hospital privileges at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

He recommends conservative and integrative treatments whenever possible but also performs minimally invasive and traditional surgery.
