About Rakesh Parikh, MD

Rakesh Parikh, MD, is a double-board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician at Capitol GI that provides exceptional gastroenterology care to people in Roseville, California, and throughout Placer County.

Dr. Parikh grew up in India. He earned his medical degree from NDMVP Samaj Medical College in Nashik, India, and completed his internship at Nashik Civil Hospital.

After graduation, Dr. Parikh moved to the United States. He completed residency training at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital (now Trinity Health Oakland Hospital) in Pontiac, Michigan, and a fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Parikh holds board certifications in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He entered private practice in 2006 and joined the Capitol GI team in 2009.

Dr. Parikh specializes in the treatment of various gastrointestinal diseases and disorders, including acid reflux, peptic ulcers, abdominal pain, and pancreatitis. His knowledge and expertise ensure improved digestive health and a better quality of life.
